Ball bushes are an economical guidance solution for medium duty applications and we stock a wide range of ball bushes, housings and shaft supports. Standard linear shafting is available in metric and imperial from 6mm to 50mm, and 1/4″ to 1-1/2″ diameters and can be cut to your required length(s).
Our standard shaft is chrome bearing steel. The chrome plating is applied to the induction hardened bearing steel and ground so doesn’t flake off or peal. It offers great corrosion resistance and long service life in most applications. 400 series stainless metric linear shafting from 6mm to 40mm is also available for use in extreme corrosive situations.

Our stock range includes the superball self-aligning ball bushes which offers 5 times the load capacity over the standard ball bush series and are great for higher duty cycle appliations.

In the metric range we have both European and Japanese series which have subtle dimensional differences. If you have a problem identifying or sourcing a particular ball bush product, please feel free to contact Linear Motion with either the part number or dimensions, and we will see if a dimensionally equivalent product is available. We can also supply case units with either standard ball bushes, superball bushes or simplicity self lubricating bushes to suit your application.
